Winter from the Inside

Earlier this week, we had the first snowfall of the season.  Altho I was happy for this brief reminder of the joy I felt in childhood, when winter would greet us with some of the white stuff, I much prefer it from the inside now! (With certain exceptions!)

Happiness and Misery

I was writing in my journal the other day, when I was thinking about how unhappy some people seem to be almost all the time, and lament about not being happy.  And, without thinking about what I was writing – stream of conscious writing, I guess – and this statement flowed from my pen.
